If we can’t beat the Royals with the team we have now, the front office is not going to invest to add a couple pieces to take on the top of the AL. I expect a less than exciting weekend of activity on the trades.

Someone has to win it, unfortunately.

Unfortuantely it has nothing to do with 'deserves', just win more games that any of the other central div. teams.

And most of the time, it seems like we play like we don't really want it all that bad.

Sad and disgusting.

The twins now account for 10% of the royals victories lol

Definitely nothing to be proud of.

Duran ruined what could have been a nice comeback win.

Well..over in Baltimore, Cole was shutting down the O's over 7 innings. O's starter threw zeros too. Cano came on in the 8th and left after getting 2 outs and giving up a hit and a walk. Another unimpressive outing for him. He has really lost control of his pitches (like Duran). Game to the 9th 0-0.

That's it.  I'm done with this team.  They could go on a win spree and finish 20 games ahead of the second place team.  They could win their divisional series, the AL pennant, and the WS.  But I won't be watching them.  This is simply a repeat of last year's debacle, and I'm sick and tired of it.  I see no reason why anything will change with this team until some major changes are made, i.e., trade Correa, Kepler, and Gallo for players who can hit with consistency, fix their pitching talent starting with whoever advises them on talent, think about a switch at manager, and on and on.  Good luck Minnesota.  I wish you well in your days ahead.  Let me know how it turns out...

Are you a football fan? Baseball has a really long season and the Twins (and many other teams) have a long tradition of frustration, dating back to 1991 for the Twin. It's just a journey. It all ends well. Every year, one team wins the World Series, their fans are happy, and all of the other teams enter the offseason with hopes of assembling a roster to win next year. It's all good. That's how it turns out. Now you know.

This is what a closer does. Bautista comes in and throws 11 pitches...2 k's and a fly out. Santander launches a monster HR in the bottom of the 9th and O's do what Twins couldn't do...break the 2 game losing streak.

Twins just can't lose games like they have lost in these past 3. Pitching has really let them down..the guys who are expected to do the job. Offensively they are still k'ing way too much, but they are also scoring runs. With better pitching any of the last 3 losses could have been reversed.
