Do you remember a worse division?

Cleve is atop with a .500 record. Royals the bottom feeders are playing .286 ball.

Today, Cleve, Twins, Tigers, WSox all took it in the shins. The Rocket Royals were the only team to pull one out.

The American League Western Division was pretty we bad back in 1987.

regardless, winning the AL West was no huge feat. Rangers “won” it with 52-62 record.

Real Estate is also cheap in West Virginia and very expensive in Manhattan.

What makes our situation even more frustrating is seeing the Guardians with a -7 differential and are leading the division. They aren't a good team, but Terry has making plays when it matters. I want to be optimistic about the second half, but refusing to change much won't help. Also, the series vs Baltimore really looked like guys were playing for the break...what an ugly series.

Yankees fired their hitting coach, will the Twins do the same with Popkins? Nobody should be safe, especially when you have group of arms the Twins do.

If this team had just an average-ish type offense, this division race would be over.

This is such a colossal failure on everyone's part.

I have heard Falvey, Jr Joe, and Baldelli. Not once were there direct admission of dismal offense and its impact on the record to date. Oh, Baldelli went on a rant but there wasn't one statement about "We will do X to correct J, I am working with Y to rectify K, and you can hold me accountable and for correcting Z by doing L.

Nothing.

One good thing that will happen if the AL Central winner finishes below .500 is the heads of some baseball purists will explode. That has the potential to be entertaining.

I don't know why everyone rips on purists when the extreme majority of people found the game much more entertaining and enjoyable for any era more than five years ago.
