I can't believe a guy with that experience could have such a simple explanation be all there is. * My entire career in Little League could be described with those words.

I would guess he's thinking most guys score from second on a base hit. You still have to run with your head up and make sure. Rookie mistake he'll probably not make again, for a long time.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Poor Ober. tough enough to win, without your teammates messing up. But that's being part of a team.
CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Buxton needs to put the ball in play that AB (obviously) 2023 Twins: single, walk, single. No runs.

Twins are their own worst enemy. Not a great or bad team, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot, ala Catfish Hunter.
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 When will the twins learn to run the bases ... When will the twin learn to make contact in the clutch ... WHEN ?

RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Teaching, coaching, and perfecting fundamentals is a direct reflection of the teams on field coaching, IMO.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 This is threatening to become remembered as The Edouard Julien Game.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Any word about Lewis ? Was thinking if the team was gonna activate him when Eligible tomorrow, he would Fly with the Team to Houston, and Saints dont play till 5 p.m. today and lineup not listed yet, , Curious ?

Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Julien has to keep his eyes on the ball even when it's in his glove , he didn't think the ball was in the pocket so it seemed ...
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Really hard not to laugh at this team.
CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 It’s like watching the same game over and over again.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 That might have been the left fielder's ball, but Castro pulled up uncertainly. before vainly speeding up again Perhaps a slight faster, more confident, more experienced CFer would have decided to relieve the LFer of the responsibility. Dunno.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Justin...put ball in play not K. Wish he would have added...listening Byron?

9moons27 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 The defense has given the Jays 2 runs and jacked up Ober's pitch count. I'd be ticked off big time if I was him.

He didn't get a good break before that so I think definitely catchable with maybe a pretty low probability. Not sure it'll show up in his statcast page but I'd be curious about the probability if it does.
CRF Verified Member Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 The Your Minnesota Twins commercial, is spot on. The part where they say that the hitting is unreal. Yep, it is.
