I can’t speak as to whether or not the Jets will be better with Rodgers. He’s obviously a better player than Zach Wilson, but…

He doesn’t have any of the charisma Brett Favre had. I could see Rodgers dividing a locker room. That’s why he wants to get some of his boys like Lazard, Cobb, and Mercedes Lewis in the building.

Am I misinterpreting the Lamar Jackson situation? Because my sense is that Jackson won't hire an agent, because he doesn't want to actually pay the agent. Is there more to it than that? Because if that's the reason, this guy is a gigantic and foolish miser.

I think Lamar is part of a younger generation of players who dont see agents as being focused on their best interests, right or wrong. I'm also fairly sure that "professional athlete arrogance" is also playing a part here. Regardless, its weird seeing a QB of his level in such an ambiguous situation.

I really hate the 'diva WR' stereotype, but what's going on with Diggs? Doubtful it's contract related since he got his big payday last year.

Is he getting fussy and lost confidence with Josh Allen like he did with Kirk Cousins? Already?  I know he chirped about that a bit after their playoff loss last year.

I mean, I'd make that trade straight up if Diggs wants Cousins back.

Diggs is whining? About Allen? Wow. Not really surprised.

I'm thinking that complaining to get your way when you're a star 26-year-old receiver is more productive than when you're a star pushing 30.

The NFL age charts say he's getting close to more-trouble-than-you're-worth territory.

I highly doubt Diggs wants Cousins back, because let's be real here: Josh Allen stands head and shoulders above Cousins.

Sounds like more gambling suspensions coming.

Of course it's at a time the NFL is still trying to rake in as much gambling revenue as possible. How do they get away with never having to answer to the owners' and commissioner's flagrant and constant hypocrisy and greed? Seriously, they like never have to face the media unless it's a prepared and meatball one-on-one session.

My question is, why are these players stupid enough to gamble on games when it is widely known that the minimum penalty is a full season suspension? Calvin Ridley should have been an example to all last year, yet there's already been 5 guys suspended so far. Why?!

Almost like gambling can be addictive. Maybe if someone told the owners this, they'd sever ties with the industry and fund PSAs about the dangers and consequences.

I'm aware it can be addictive, but there are so many other things to gamble away their money on that will not threaten their career... to be clear, I'm not defending the league here, I don't approve of their mass adoption of gambling.

I only mentioned it because you asked why players would be dumb enough to do it. I wasn't being snarky with you, just the situation.

I dealt blackjack for half a decade in my early 20's. Different form of gambling for sure, but man, watching the same regulars come in every day and watching their world shatter with every hand made me sick to my stomach. They truly just couldn't stop.

Good for him. On another note, I can't wait to see what Joe Burrow will be getting.

I was so wrong about him. Good for him. Also, wow, QBs make a lot of money

He'll get more for sure, but probably the same ballpark. Prior to last year, most people saw Herbert as the better QB.

Also, I'm so very jealous. We need one of those.

Burrow carted off, but it is "just" a calf injury.

Jalen Ramsey may have a serious knee injury.

I like to watch the NFL, but I have to intentionally NOT think about what I'm watching people do to their bodies (though it is their choice to do it).

This list is so baffling I thought I'd share it.

May be a graphic of football, card, poster, magazine, football helmet and text that says 'COLIN COWHERD'S TOP 10 QB AND WR DUOS IN THE NFL TODAY 1 JOE BURROW JA'MARR CHASE 2 3 TREVOR LAWRENCE CALVIN RIDLEY PATRICK MAHOMES ÛEK JETS TRAVIS KELCE 5 AARON RODGERS GARRETT WILSON DEREK CARR 6 CHRIS OLAVE Zα JOSH ALLEN STEFON DIGGS 8 KIRK COUSINS JUSTIN JEFFERSON 9 DAK PRESCOTT CEEDEE LAMB TUA TAGOVAILOA 10 TYREEK HILL JARED GOFF THE HERD COWHERD AMON-RA ST. BROWN'

I'd probably go chiefs, bengals, vikings, bills, dolphins.

What team(s) would pay a 1st round pick + an extension for Jonathan Taylor?

So, the colts say he's not worth paying like an elite player, but they want a return for an elite player?

What team is doing this? Didn't he miss half the year with an ankle injury?

Cine and Booth for Taylor, who says no?

I never cared for either Cine or Booth, but I assume if the Vikings trade for Taylor, they'd have to extend him.

If that impacts their ability to extend Hunter, Hockenson, Jefferson, Darrisaw and O'Niell, I'm probably out.

Also, then they'd probably have to manage to get one of the top QBs in the draft next year, unless they think Hall is the real deal.

I wasn't suggesting it at all..... Just posting for posting on that part. The actual point was the first part.

Reportedly, Trey Lance was pulled from practice to avoid injury after losing out to Josh Darnold for the #2 QB role.

Where's he getting traded to?

Rapoport is bringing back the old rumor of Lance to the Vikings. There’s been too much smoke for it not to happen.
