sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 We seem to be able to put things in play for a change. Half way back to a tie game.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Weird... No safe call on the stolen base, and it took me a moment to figure out that was because no tag was applied. And the announcers explained it right after i figured it out. Shows me up for doing my own thinking...
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Leon out of the game now after taking a foul-tip to the mask.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Caleb behind the plate. We swapped in a fresh battery. Wonder if Enriquez can strand more runners this inning.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Gray has a hamstring injury. Not devastating.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Right hamstring tightness is the word.

tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Quantrill is not real sharp today but he gets through five without even a mound visit.

Easy answer----- Just set their new record for the most pitchers used in a single season? I'm beaming with pride. Now I can remember the 2022 Twins fondly as the "record-setting 2022 Twins"

Hamiton is a very good fielder , Wallner so far has a good bat. (I would put Gordon in the same category as Wallner, you never know when he will brain fade.)

Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Good job Henriquez after that lead off double! Keeping us in the game!
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Yes, Cave - hit it the other way!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Shift beating 101: Taught by Jake Cave for 1 credit.
RpR Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 PItchers seem to know Jake Cave is suceptible to outside pitches, as they throw junk out there and he often suckers for it, but then his home run to right yesterday was outside junk.
RpR Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Hamiton, C. on my! Contreras pinch hitting, OH MY!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Marking the 3rd(?) time i got ninja-ed posting something 'cause i take time to think of a quip (though once i thought better of it. like there is never a right hamstring tightness, but obviously there is)
PopRiveter Verified Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 This has the workings of a nice rally. I'm somehow still hoping for the best

tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Wallner is not a good defender but he does have some speed and has improved considerably this year alone. If you have watched him in several dozen games he gets decent jumps and is not the pitcher playing outfielder making numerous errors that he was last year. He is better than Garlick right now and equal to Larnach as a defensive player, not that that is anywhere close to Kepler.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Was there any doubt, ?? My God
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Twins need a bad hop occasionally because line drives are not working. Tough luck for these young guys.
