glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 lol... 1. Glunn is worth a lot. 2. If Glunn paid that much... Afterwards he would be worth little. I am too old to start over, so the picture will have to suffice. Also, if the need arises, there is a living art museum about 2 miles away, and private dances from certified happiness engineers are reasonably priced.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Cy-Nolasco. When I think of Nolasco... I can't help thinking about Cookies. I'd like a Fig Newton about now.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Who switch sites it was going so well on the other one. Good idea... Everyone over to the 1st game thread.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Finally the Twins get some hits.

But really, do the engineers need certifications in Minnesota?
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Holy crap Dozier... nice at bat, no matter what the outcome.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 One of the best PAs I've seen in a couple years.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I'm stealing this... living art museum... gold. But really, do the engineers need certifications in Minnesota?Of course, how else would they tax the crap out of em?
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I'm stealing this... living art museum... gold. But really, do the engineers need certifications in Minnesota? I coined that term a while ago as a way to speak about my former favorite hobby without eavesdroppers knowing what I was talking about. As for certifications in Minnesota, I plan to research that at some point.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Why does it feel like Joe is going to bounce one to second?
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Kudos to Dozier -- hopefully that wore down the pitcher and the Twins can break this open.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 But really, do the engineers need certifications in Minnesota? No, but medical clearance is a plus.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Sounds like a nice break for us with the Marlin's fielding!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 A little help is always appreciated.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 But really, do the engineers need certifications in Minnesota?Yes, via Professional Engineer (PE) exam. Same one electrical and civil engineers take. Pass rate is very low, I hear. But desire fulfillment technicians need not be certified, licensed, or bonded. You get what you pay for...
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I am going home now -- will be back after dog and I pick up dinner.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Do we trust Pelfrey in this situation?
big dog Verified Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Pretty poor route on the ball there by Arcia. Oops.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Pretty poor route on the ball there by Arcia. Oops. Yeah... Pretty much... That was a LF slice and Arcia had a RF slice route.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Boy, Mahoney having a rough inning* running bases and defensively at 1B *not the same inning (technically) but back-to-back defense to offense.
