Dozier playing a nice second base. I will add that I thought my man Alexi played a very good second base last year, but was the epitome of frustrating while holding the lumber.

Thanks for that. I totally spaced off that you could look up the batting leadoff split. I feel like the pitches he's seeing has went up also.

 

I took a look at Doumit's split between catcher and DH. As a DH he's been below mediocre, BA of .238, OPS .638. But as catcher, well, maybe we should give that Butera fellow another look-see: BA .077, OPS .404.

 

Fun with small-sample-size, I know.

At some point, teams will need to see if Hicks can actually hit like Bonds before they keep pitching around him like Bonds, right?
