I do in fact, even if i don't recall how to type small. "It's Wednesday" is what the soldiers say in The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen (at least the Gilliam version) as a reason for taking time off from guard duty to watch the game on youtube. That was the age of Reason. And Mudder's day is a riff on an old Abbott and Costello routine.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 National Wine Day, you say? Well then, I should go down to the basement later and pick from the many options. Also, I guess, make decent dinner to go with the wine.

Problem being, I have too many leftovers to make something new. And I really should eat a brat. I bet I've got something that'll work.

And in this case it came up on the first view of the thread and is 't there now. But it was one of them cool ads that stay put as you scroll past, and there were others in the intermittent places.

That's not as cool as those ads that cover the "Submit Reply" button, stay fixed over it and can't be closed. Those are the coolest!

CRF Verified Member Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Just checked the radar again, and we might get lucky and get the game in. It might spit a bit from time to time, but there's a break for a while. It's pretty cool and windy though...only around 50 degrees. Pop ups might be an adventure. Let's hope Bundy has a decent outing.

That line probably still holds true, you just have to know what Hardees and Jordache jeans are! Both are rare in the wild these days.
