Not sure I get sending Winder back out for the 7th. He was clearly battling it all night long and had a chance to end his outing on a high note with a 1-2-3 inning.

No bueno. Had a chance to win this one, and are now probably going to lose by multiple runs. Oh well. Have to win tomorrow with Gray on the mound, and take the season series 5-1 against Oakland, which is more than acceptable

Feel like the Twins sort of punted on this game. I think the plan was to have Bundy throw 3 or 4 innings, and Winder the rest no matter what was happening in the game.

Really poor outing from Winder. Clearly didn't have his best stuff, and was fighting it all night long. However, he never should've been in the game in the 7th inning. This one is on the manager in my book. Interested to see if the plan is to use him as a long reliever for the time being, or if his next appearance is in the rotation.

Rocco's riding Winder as if he's going to be shown the door to AAA tomorrow... I don't get any of this. The bullpen's been good lately, just let them clean up in the 7th onward.

Rocco treated winder like it was the 4th inning of a blowout. “Just get us some outs” is something you generally don’t say in the 7th inning of a close game
