cHawk Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Okay, Chicago. There’s no way you can **** this one up. You have an 8-2 lead in the 9th Inning against your division rival. To make things even better, you’re facing the 7-8-9 hitters. This should be a piece of cake. https://www.mlb.com/video/tanner-banks-in-play-run-s-to-andres-gimenez?q=TeamId %3D%3D [114] Order By Timestamp DESC&cp=CMS_FIRST&p=0 https://www.mlb.com/video/tanner-banks-in-play-run-s-to-austin-hedges?q=TeamId %3D%3D [114] Order By Timestamp DESC&cp=CMS_FIRST&p=0 https://www.mlb.com/video/liam-hendriks-in-play-run-s-to-josh-naylor?q=TeamId %3D%3D [114] Order By Timestamp DESC&cp=CMS_FIRST&p=0 https://www.mlb.com/video/nick-sandlin-in-play-out-s-to-adam-engel-vs42wz?q=TeamId %3D%3D [114] Order By Timestamp DESC&cp=CMS_FIRST&p=0 https://www.mlb.com/video/ryan-burr-in-play-run-s-to-josh-naylor?q=TeamId %3D%3D [114] Order By Timestamp DESC&cp=CMS_FIRST&p=0 …or you can do that. That works too.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 We did that to the Tigers a few years back. Good times.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Guardians tied in the 9th on a GS, with 2 outs. White Sox lose it in the 12th off a 3-run hr. Josh Naylor both times. Of the 6 runs given up by the Sox pitchers in the 9th, 3 were unearned

No the Dodgers took a close game and turned it into a blow-out; maybe I should have said when Arraez threw the ball into right field and the other team won without a hit, but the Dodger blow-out is good enough.
Dman Verified Member Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Man Chicago is having 2021 Twins luck this year. They are a better team than this but the baseball gods are against them at least so far.
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Rare feat in that game - 2 dropped easy fly ball catches, one for each team. Haven't seen one in a good while, let alone two.

No luck involved, they're doing it to themselves. 4 errors last night and they've been playing sloppy, awful baseball like that for weeks now. Couldn't be happier for them or their fans.

"You didn't make the AS team but you just helped be the Detroit Tigers." What a line.... 2. Aaron Hicks sighting. Bring back DaveW, we need him now more than ever....
