Let's look on the bright side of things. The White Sox are doing as badly as the Twins with a payroll that is almost $50 million higher than the Twins and the Angels are even worse with a lineup that has Pujols, Trout, Hamilton, and Weaver with a payroll of $65+ million more.

Shine on you crazy Diamond, and get us a W. Let's go back to that thing where we were losing the first game of the series and winning the last two. I liked that better.

Ten games in the offense has been poor--the defense poor and the pitching more often poor than good. The Twins are lucky they have won four games. It will get better, but the club may be out of it before it does.

Diamond gave up 4 runs in 5 innings in his last rehab start in Ft. Meyers, but I am hoping that this is because he was experimenting a lot and getting kinks worked out.

Please explain how that's supposed to make anyone--other than the Pohlad Brothers--feel any better.

I hear where you're coming from. Still, just because they have more pain than we do, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.:)

We know spring training and other exhibition games mean nothing. Exhibit A--Aaron Hicks. Exhibit B--Kevin Correia.

I think the hope was that his rough start wasn't because he hadn't fully recovered or gotten back in synch from his injury.

I am thrilled that Diamond is healthy and pitching well today. He can make a big difference if he can stay healthy.

You had to say that "out loud", didn't you?:o

Good to have Diamond back, even if it will be hard to walk the low-K, sub 4 era tightrope again. Good start on that today even with the solo moon shot.

Glunn... You Jinxed us. Look what happened... You and your 72 degrees all the time.

*sigh* another game where the bullpen needs to get more outs than the starter.

No worries, even after today the starters will still hold a 5-ish inning per game vs 4 IP pergame edge over the pen in IP. > 50% is good, right?
