Bucket list item to watch the Twins from the top of the Green Monsta one of these years... on top of the Monstah ... Fenway North or Fenway South?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I mean ... Buxton probably gets to third anyway
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 wtf man ... sheesh ...

RpR Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 AH wonderful base running by Arraez.
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 How to grab the the thrill of losing from the jaws of victory.

AceWrigley Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Where is Luis Arraez's head today?

The other thing I love, which I've harped on before I'm sure, is that the cheering is organic. None of the happy-clappy video screen stuff - someone will start a "Let go Red Sox, clap, clap, clapclapclap," and pretty soon the whole section is doing it. They do the Wave a bit much to my liking, but that's pretty much everywhere.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Twins must be using the anti-ball glove dressing.

RpR Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 He has hustle but lacks in baseball basic skills; spring training next year may tell whether is a glitch or real flaw.

Arraez has never been more than passable at defense at any position. He's Astudillo with 100x the accumen at the plate with the ability to contend for batting titles.

Arraez average is higher , but little Astudillo can put it over the fence, and at that , Astudillo has a far stronger arm than Arraez.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Boy, Kepler just can't get over the hump. his constant ground outs to the right side are so predictable. He homers or doubles every once in a while, to whet our appetities.

I'll take Arraez over Astudillo 10/10 times. 15 career homeruns and .721 OPS doesn't move the needle enough for me when the other option is .378 OBP and .785 OPS. Especially considering their wildly opposite approaches at the plate.
RpR Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Good thing Baldelli took Jax out. Unless the Twins can get back into the hitting groove again, this game is over.
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Home run number 23 for Austin Meadows . . .
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 This team doesn't have the horses, does it. Not easy to turn around either, IMO. We're in for another dry stretch.

AceWrigley Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I like how Danny pronounces Arozarena different each time. ?
RpR Verified Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Good throw by Rortvedt, he can teach Jeffers a lesson or two on basics; I am glad he got a hit today to. If he learns to hit, he will be a defensive advantage.
