Fenway is very cool and probably ranks above Wrigley for me. Bucket list item to watch the Twins from the top of the Green Monsta one of these years...

on top of the Monstah ... Fenway North or Fenway South?

North! ?

You laugh ... but they replicated the Monstah at JetBlue in Fort Myers which is referred to as Fenway South ... but I'm sure you know that. It's a nice park

my nightlines were far better at Fenway

That's one favorite aspect for me - fairly reasonably priced seats down the third base line, that seems pretty far out since it's near the wall but actually gives a good look at the game.

The other thing I love, which I've harped on before I'm sure, is that the cheering is organic.  None of the happy-clappy video screen stuff - someone will start a "Let go Red Sox, clap, clap, clapclapclap," and pretty soon the whole section is doing it.

They do the Wave a bit much to my liking, but that's pretty much everywhere.

Where is Luis Arraez's head today?

He better check in the mirror with another mirror.

He has hustle but lacks in baseball basic skills; spring training next year may tell whether is a glitch or real flaw.

Arraez has never been more than passable at defense at any position. He's Astudillo with 100x the accumen at the plate with the ability to contend for batting titles.

Arraez average is higher , but little Astudillo can put it over the fence, and at that , Astudillo has a far stronger arm than Arraez.

Boy, Kepler just can't get over the hump. his constant ground outs to the right side are so predictable.  He homers or doubles every once in a while, to whet our appetities.

I'll take Arraez over Astudillo 10/10 times. 15 career homeruns and .721 OPS doesn't move the needle enough for me when the other option is .378 OBP and .785 OPS. Especially considering their wildly opposite approaches at the plate.

Good thing Baldelli took Jax out.

Unless the Twins can get back into the hitting groove again, this game is over.

This team doesn't have the horses, does it.

Not easy to turn around either, IMO. We're in for another dry stretch.

Jax's last two innings...he was getting hit hard. I was surprised he was sent back out to start the inning.1547014315_ScreenShot2021-09-05at2_03_16PM.png.f6828611c99cb9f2a8b0bee765bdb2ab.png

Good throw by Rortvedt, he can teach Jeffers a lesson or two on basics; I am glad he got a hit today to.

If he learns to hit, he will be a defensive advantage.

Our pitching staff is the Keebler elves of baseball; tossing up cookies.

Watching them play causes me to blow chunks
