I do remember when they took 2 of 3 from them at the dome in 2001. For real. I was in 8th grade and the only time I ever got to watch the twins was when they played the Yankees. Remember it like it was yesterday

They always played the Yankees respectably during the Kelly years, even in the 90s when they were bad and even when the Yankees. Started winning championships.

People forget how bad the Twins were against the Yankees in the ‘70s and early ‘80s.  Those were the games I saw the most, and I really suffered.  Things evened out a bit in the Tom Kelly years (Kelly as a manager, not as a player ?)
