MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Not that one in particular, just challenges in general. Also remember, there’s someone telling him that it’s a good call to challenge.Do we know who that was on the 3rd inning one, and if we pay them real money?
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 And walk.Edit: Luis, all he does is OBP
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 You can request a review the 7th or later, i believe.I get that, but that's weird. You have no challenges, you can ... request a challenge. I'd need to be a lawyer to iron that out.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Do we know who that was on the 3rd inning one, and if we pay them real money?I don’t have enough to put on Rocco to make it worth it
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Luis Arraez. 2021 AL Batting Champ.Undrafted gem who never was on a Baseball America Top 100 list, just like Rod Carew.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Undrafted gem who never was on a Baseball America Top 100 list, just like Rod Carew. I did not know that about Carew. Cool.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Luis Arraez. 2021 AL MVP.*Fixed
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Arraez really got after that one.
Sielk Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Edit: Luis, all he does is OBP* and field. What a throw! Did I read in scouting reports that he has a weak arm?
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I get that, but that's weird. You have no challenges, you can ... request a challenge. I'd need to be a lawyer to iron that out.To be fair, I’m not a fan of a limited number of challenges per game anyway. Why should a team be punished if you have terrible officiating that screws up multiple calls per game AND then screws up the review? I’m of the opinion that if a call is obviously messed up it should be reversed. Kinda like how the NHL does goals. Andres Gallaraga would have a perfect game in that case
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I did not know that about Carew. Cool.(He was signed before there was a draft. And Baseball America did not yet exist.)
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Luis Arraez. 2021 AL Batting Champ. Puts the bat on the ball, flashes underrated defensive prowess, and has a last name that's like a giant Lego set for bad puns.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Author Posted April 4, 2021 So... do we have enough insurance runs yet?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 and has a last name that's like a giant Lego set for bad puns... should the opportunity arraez.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 So... do we have enough insurance runs yet?Enough? Yes. But, too much does not exist in this context.
Sielk Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 So... do we have enough insurance runs yet?I vote for more. More is always good. And fun.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Puts the bat on the ball, flashes underrated defensive prowess, and has a last name that's like a giant Lego set for bad puns.Yeah, he Arraez'd on Easter Sunday.

MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Yeah, he Arraez'd on Easter Sunday.Theeeeere we go. I'd advocate for you to get the winner on this one, but I think chief already gave it out.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 ... should the opportunity arraez. Yeah, he Arraez'd on Easter Sunday. You guys are just doing this to get Arraez out of me...
TFRazor Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Having watched Big Ten basketball this year, I disagree. Seemed like every three minutes they had to stop to look at something.I’ll accept some slowdowns if they get it right. Admittedly, basketball not my favorite sport so I’ll take your word for it
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I did not know that about Carew. Cool.pfft. neither were Ted Williams,Babe Ruth, or Harmon Killebrew. edit: ninja'd by Ash
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Arraez and Alcala have the potential to be the greatest pun-combo of all time. If the Twins can Arraez to the occasion Alcala reliever to finish off the game, etc., etc.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Winner, winner, Easter ham dinner
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I am slowly turning into a huge fan of the Andrelton Simmons signing.
