Welp. We just lost back to back games to the Pirates and the Royals. Not something that should be happening. We threw none of our top arms tonight, and only gave up 3 runs. I didn't expect the offense to be shut down by Jakob Junis and the Royals bullpen. The offense was not there at all tonight, which is starting to become a slightly worrisome trend through 2 weeks. Hopefully we can bounce back this weekend and take 2 of 3.

Was he thinking of a different Caleb Thielbar?

I remember reading during Spring Training that Thielbar was hitting 94/95 and was looking really good, which I thought was why he's here... but he's clearly the same guy he was back in 2013-15. Not worth being on the roster IMO.

Giving up 3 runs when basically using your B pitchers is not bad... but you won't win games when the hitters rack up a measly 5 hits. Too many hitters are slumping at the same time...

I've been to a couple Crunch games. I lived two stops away from the Barclays for four years so Isles games were easy and cheap to get into. Never paid more than 15$ for tickets and probably went to twenty or so games.

 

I'd rather go to 'Cuse hoops games than go to the Crunch.
