This is the city, Cleveland, Ohio. A city unlike any other, in that two titans of baseball will be meeting in a head to head contest. Some may call it destiny, that these two team would meet like this. Others would look to MLB and their scheduling gurus. Either theory is nice, but we deal in facts, just the facts.

 

 

And the facts are: Cleveland keeps trying to catch the Twins, but the Twins, much like Road Runner, seem to find a way to avoid getting caught.

 

 

But, in the end, there can only be two!

I woke up with a fear of the Twins not even making the Playoffs. This team has more talent than the Twins of the Puckett/Hrbek days and is a lot of fun to watch, most days! I don't understand how the average couch sitting, beer drinking fan can fall on ice several times a year and are still able to go to work. I can't call in for a month cuz my (insert body part here) hurts. These guys have trainers, massage people, hot tubs, cold tubs, support squirrels..etc and average Joe has a tube of Bengay. Toughen up and at least get into the Playoffs. Is that too harsh? I will calm down once I see Puig!.......uh wait, no. Win Twins and let's do the Bomba hustle tonight! #1 for the food.

I find it curious that a team based about 75 miles away from THE Mayo Clinic has had such trouble keeping a relatively young roster healthy. Sure, Cruz is old. But the roster besides him is pretty young. Young guys are supposed to heal faster.
