Back in the day... they did. 

 

There was a big fight in the American League West because the Mariners wanted it changed to Seattle Leaguers. So the Ivy league front offices just removed it from the language to keep the peace.

Oh, you mean in the diagram. A bird counterweight that falls into the bucket when the bird goes for the cracker. And the clock applies the napkin to the face repeatedly as it is attached to the pendulum that will swing forth and back.
