This game feels like last game. Rocco brought in Duffey instead of Littell and quickly gave up two inherited runs.

I also think the Indians deserve a ton of credit because they've suddenly turned this team around and look like they're back to being a WS contender again. I know we love to rag on the Twins, but Cleveland looks legit.

EXACTLY.  Nice to see someone else gets it.  It's all negativity around here and people wanting to fold up the tents.  You are one of the few who recognize how much Cleveland has put it together.  And the biggest difference between the two teams right now is that Cleveland destroyed the crap teams (KC, CHW, DET) that they're supposed to and the Twins haven't taken advantage when they had them earlier in the season.  But the Twins have 26 of the last 46 games of the season against those 3 sad sacks, including the last 13 of the year.  Meanwhile, Cleveland has just 16 against those three teams.  Plus, Cleveland can't continue that .700 tear they've been on since June 4.

Still a ton of time left.  They ain't giving out playoff berths after Sunday's games.

I would not trust Duffey with men on base. He always has a reputation to let inherited runners score.

I thought I saw he'd given up 1 inherited run all year ...

23 pitches for Dobnak. 1 swing and miss. By Puig, a guy who swings and misses a lot.

Twins really aren't known for having pitchers with swing and miss stuff, something I think holds them back a lot.

I bet a lot of people back in 2006 didn’t think the Twins would play .700 ball after the AS break either.

Way to wiggle out of it, Dobnak.  Hopefully that's all for you for tonite but I fear that Rocco will leave you out there one inning too long and your pristine ERA will take a welt.

Yeah I hope he comes out. The bullpen is rested just fine.

Dobnak has a ticket on the first flight to Rochester in the morning, would be my guess.

Liked it not because I think it's a good idea but because you're spot-on.  That's been the MO for the Twins with relief pitchers these last couple of weeks.

So, 50 pitches and like 6-7 swings and misses. It’s not terrible. But, if this is the best guy the Twins have that’s a problem.

Hey if the best guy the Twins have gives them 3 innings of scoreless relief that's pretty good

Should pitch more like Gibson. Nibble, nibble, nibble and maybe he will get more swing and misses for ya.

I'm sure it's been suggested before but after recent success(or lack there of) of the Starters it's time to Start Stacking

Berrios/Littell

Odorizzi/Smeltzer

Gibson/Thorpe

Pineda/Perez

4 to 5 innings for each Stacker no need for the 5th starter if Berrios goes 6 in first start then flip the two for the 5th start

These guys split the 8th and 9th

Rogers

Romo

Harper

Dobnak

Duffey
