Honest question here. Is Meadows wearing his oven mitt for diving back to 1st base only? If he was to take a head first slide into 2nd wouldn't he want to use his left hand or would he slide into the home plate side of 2nd?

He uses it for grilling hot food too.

 

Can you tell the game thread opening author is back in the game?

Why don’t people hate Schoop as much as they hate Sano?

 

I swear, that guy has K’d in every AB with RISP this year.

I feel like Marnie is almost a clone of Dick in style, description, and mannerism. That being said I like Dick. Don't take the last phrase ot of context. Also, Dick called games the last time we won a world series. I remember his calls that year, and I'm not ready to give up that history and nostalgia yet...

 

Also, can Marnie pitch at all?

Sano's been much worse overall - but I was thinking that if it weren't for Sano, we'd be way more angry at Schoop. Not good in big moments at the plate.
