These NFL teams are crazy taking a QB in the first round every year. The cards selected Rosen 10th%€®© just last year. Compete wasted pick... If Murray flops, they're ****ed. Bosa is as sure of a thing as you can get. Dude will change games immediately.

They didn't draft Rosen. It's a new regime.

And, no other moves matter if you don't have a good QB.

Good QBs don't come around every first round.... Especially multiple QBs. I think drafting QBs is harder than drafting high school pitchers. Sure, you get Peyton Manning sometimes, but more often you get Christian Ponder.

Of course, it's very hard.

But you have zero chance without one, and most of the good ones were found in the first round. All you can do is keep trying until you get one, anything else is just a waste of time.

If you don't have a franchise QB, and one is there, in your mind, take him. QBs win championships. Most important position in all of sports.

I would rather take the Vikings approach after Ponder. But, if you think the guy you want is there you take him. I'm just confused how it is possible that guy... multiple of them... are there in the first round every year.

If the Vikings pass on Taylor, Dillard or Bradbury, I imagine Spielman will need to wear a disguise to leave his house? Things are falling really nicely should the Vikings be into the presumed top OL.

Inside pressure is where the real problems are, imo. This makes the whole line better.

I would have just liked a tackle to kick Reiff inside. But maybe the ones left aren’t able to overtake him. And maybe Reiff can’t go inside.

Either way, still a good pick with Bradbury.

So 18 picks and here are some guys still available:

OT Jawan Taylor

OG/OT Cody Ford

OT Greg Little

OG/OT Dalton Risner

S Chauncy Gardner-Johnson

S Amani Hooker

DT Dremont Jones

CB Byron Murphy

C/OG Eric McCoy

DE Chase Winovich

DE Anthony Nelson

S Taylor Rapp

TE Irv Smith Jr.

There are some serious talents left.  I really hope we see McCoy or Risner fall to 50.  Otherwise, I'd gladly give up a 4th rounder to move up and land one of the linemen.

I remain in love with CGJ and Hooker as safeties.  RB Montgomery is still my favorite back too.

The Vikings drafted Bridgewater in the first round after Ponder.

Now that we got our offensive lineman, I'm rooting for a DT, someone like Dre'mont Jones or Trysten Hill. Maybe Wren.

I'm selfish and want another lineman... Maybe even one more in the 5-6th round.

Bridgewater? Disagree. He got badly injured. And he was not bad before that.

First round worthy? I liked Carr then, and still like him. Never felt Teddy had the talent to be the guy.

I'd like more linemen, and if Little or Risner are still there I'd be interested, but even with the team's OL deficiencies, I can't see them starting two rookies unless there's a late offseason injury. So at this point I'd really want this to be BPA. Preferably that's a super-freak athlete at what ever position he plays.

There are so many good safeties and d-linemen it's crazy. Pretty much every corner still there too.
