ashbury Verified Member Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 At the AFL game I attended tonight, Scottsdale's left fielder threw lefty, and the right fielder threw righty. FWIW. Steve Lein 1
mickeymental Verified Member Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 in junior high one kid threw a baseball lefty and a football righty. (pretty good at both but moved away before high school.)

This site never lets me down!Well, you know it's a slow week when a move like this one gets so many comments! But honestly, I like this waiver claim. Seems like a low risk move with plenty of potential upside. Like many posters here, I had never heard of Michael Reed before but I am intrigued by the numbers he put up in recent years. Might he turn into another pleasant keeper like Jake Cave?
Baseball101 Provisional Member Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I saw him play In Gwinnett Quite a bit and he is legit! He can hit, run and has great jumps on the ball. He also has no problem laying out to make a catch...made diving catches in CF that many guys just let drop. IMO the reason his BABIP was so elevated is he squares up the ball and hits a lot of line drives. We all figured it was unsustainable, but he proved us wrong. I wish we would have used him in July, but AA never gave him a shot. He seems like a good kid as well. Sorry we lost him, but he deserves an opportunity, hope his success continues until you play the Braves... ashbury, TheLeviathan, Mike Sixel and 1 other 4
