Doctor Wu Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Well, it's late July and starting to wonder if any of the Twins players will reach the 20 homer mark this year. Rosario is currently sitting on 19, so he SHOULD be able to get up and over that benchmark. But will any other players on the team make it? Dozier and Escobar are two other possibilities, but one or both of those guys could end up being traded soon. Or could it be Kepler? He's now at 13 dingers and starting to look better lately.

Drew Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I went to look at the HR leaders and realized that out of the top 40 HR hitters in baseball Rosario has the shortest average HR distance at 384.21 feet and the slowest speed off the bat (on HR's) at 100.47 mph. He is also the only one from the top 40 without a "no doubt" HR. But he does have the highest duration (behind Harper, who ) on his HR's at 5.25 seconds. Nothing to any of this maybe but I found it interesting. But to the question, I'll guess Rosario hits 30 and no one else hits 20 (for the Twins, Dozier and Esco do it for someone else).
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I doubt Rosario gets 20. If Escobar and Dozier are both traded, why do teams pitch to Rosario?
WLFINN Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I doubt Rosario gets 20. If Escobar and Dozier are both traded, why do teams pitch to Rosario?Do they have to pitch "to him" for him to hit homeruns?
Oxtung Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I doubt Rosario gets 20. If Escobar and Dozier are both traded, why do teams pitch to Rosario? You don't think Rosario gets 1 more HR? Not even when he goes golfing?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 I doubt Rosario gets 20. If Escobar and Dozier are both traded, why do teams pitch to Rosario? because, despite what we all seem to think, it isn't easy to throw a pitch that isn't hittable for a strike.....
Brandon Verified Member Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 If Sano comes back Aug 1. He is at 7 now and should hit 13 more in 2 months. Morrison could he is at 12 so he needs to get after it. Kepler Rosario obviously Dozier just needs 4. If we win more we may not sell giving us Escobar too. That gives us 5 or 6 20 HR guys. But not many more 10 HR guys. Also Dozier just needs 4 SB to get to 100.
