FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Good pitching there from Berrios. Let's get a run here!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Berrios is also all over the place.Yeah, kind of. With a couple squeezed ones, too. Like I said, he needs to just attack. They know he has the wipe out curve, let it get in their heads, and hard to trust Garver with a curve in the dirt in a big spot. Go mostly heaters tonight. IMO.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 I thought there was a gentlemans agreement. NO MATH. Plus using Roman Numerals gives Chief an unfair advantage!

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Joe Mauer had a 9 pitch at bat to lead off the bottom of the first. The other 8 hitters were retired on 24 pitches.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Holy moly, I literally parked my car when the top of the 3rd ended and lamarre was flying out when i turned my tv on
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Would it be considered in bad form to mention Chris Sale has a PERFECT GAME in progress through three? Some people consider it bad luck to mention a PERFECT GAME while it's on going. I'm not sure I buy into the supersticion about mentioning a NO HITTER or PERFECT GAME during the event. I think mentioning a PERFECT GAME as it's happening is probably ok.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Well that half inning went quick Guess the VII, VIII, and IX hitters won't be doing much tonight...
bighat Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Will this finally be the night that the Twins get no-hit? We know it's in the mail and will arrive at some point this year...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Why did the mother potato forbid her daughter from marrying the very ordinary newscaster potato?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 There is a big difference between Berrios and Sale. I get that there is a big age gap, but man, Berrios would be like the fourth starter on the Red Sox.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Berrios doesn’t appear to have his A game
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Well so much for my fastball dead red strategy
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Well so much for my fastball dead red strategyYeah I didn't think much of that 2 strike FB to Moreland.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Honest question looking for an answer: How does the shifting affect defensive metrics like zone rating? For example, Escobar just shifted to basically behind second base. Let’s say the hitter squibbed one down the third base line for a hit. Does that negatively affect Escobar’s stats as a ball he didn’t get to in his “zone” or do they take his actual placement into consideration?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Eye don't know?Mama was a bit of an elitist, and the guy was just a commentater.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Love Motter's flow... don't love his bat...
Brandon Brooks Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Berrios keeps getting out of jams...we need to put an inning together or we're not gonna be able to hold 'em.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Berrios doesn’t appear to have his A gameidk, 3 scoreless innings against a lineup averaging 5 + runs per game. I’d call that pretty good.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Love Motter's flow... don't love his bat...Every 70's rock band currently eeking by playing Treasure Island is ever so envious of the locks.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Come on blue, don't make me look up your name to see who you are and how bad you are
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 I’m worried that we won’t have a baserunner tonight
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 I'm torn between anguish at how bad the lineup is, and realizing this is Chris F'ing Sale
