I would prefer Hosmer crossing his name off the first base award and giving it to him.  Wasn't he the least worthy defensively of the three finalists?

Uh, alright, Dozier was probably about average according to the metrics but I guess he had a good offensive season, therefore he wins the award. Add Mauer not even being in the running and it goes to show the pointlessness of the award.

 

Congrats to Buxton, and boy did he earn it.
