FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Playing for 1 run with this bullpen is sorta like fighting a forest fire with a garden hose. 1 run is better than 0 runs, right?
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Esco should have had the bunt sign on. Assuming he gets it down; runner on third. No double play right there. At least one more at-bat.Rosario stays on second with the ground ball and there is no double play in order either. twinsnorth49 and USAFChief 2
snepp Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Playing for 1 run with this bullpen is sorta like fighting a forest fire with a garden hose. Against one of the league's premier offenses.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 1 run is better than 0 runs, right?if they get one run. Kepler's comebacker doesn't score Rosario.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 That might have been the game right there. Terrible f'in hitting. The base running helped.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 You just can't understate that kind of bad base running.....http://i.imgur.com/0WiV7OG.gif bird, twinsnorth49 and snepp 3
snepp Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 The base running "helped." Yes. twinsnorth49 1
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 How is Gee not being called for a balk with every single delivery?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 How is Gee not being called for a balk with every single delivery?Well, for one thing, you can't balk unless there are runner(s) on base. twinsnorth49 and ThejacKmp 2
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 1 run is better than 0 runs, right?And 2 is better than 1, and so is 3.,....and 4......and 5...etc....
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 How is Gee not being called for a balk with every single delivery?Have fun watching Moya. He's a walking, talking, balk waiting to happen. Craig Arko and David HK 2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 How is Gee not being called for a balk with every single delivery?Gee, I dunno, how? Don Walcott 1
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Yikes, the balkmeister. Craig Arko 1
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 I think Hughes is on the official postseason roster. As is Sano. So they can add or subtract based on the DL.Oh, I'm sure he's eligible. The question is twofold. How many pitchers? Which ones? It's worth noting that the Twins only have 15 active position players, one of whom is Niko Goodrum. A veteran MLB guy like Matt Hague might have been a useful player to have around, especially with Sano likely out. David HK 1
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Just how you draw it up
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Have fun watching Moya. He's a walking, talking, balk waiting to happen.Oh my god. Wow. Puckett34 and Blake 2
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 The base running helped. True, but still, two at bats with a total of four pitches? Pretty poor.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 How is Gee not being called for a balk with every single delivery? Pardon My Dinger, USAFChief, Blake and 1 other 4
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Turned out to be a pretty good game, all things considered. Pardon My Dinger, USAFChief and Blake 3
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Moya probably faces Kipnis. Then who? Pressly? Busenitz?
Rhino and Compass Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Lets use every pitcher in one game. Including Giminez snepp, David HK, bird and 2 others 5
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 No bunt. Steal. Then bunt. USAFChief, spinowner and FlauerPauer 3
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Yanks leading Tampa Bay. Houston leading Texas. So we've got those two games going right.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Wait, since when did Kipnis play CF?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Moya probably faces Kipnis. Then who?Pressly?Busenitz?Yes. Yes. And prolly a few more "yes's" as well. Riverbrian, Blake and twinsnorth49 3
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 (edited) Of course, Castro rarely hits the ball the other way. Bunting may not really be necesarry. Edited September 27, 2017 by yarnivek1972
