If the Twins make the world series it would be the first time in history that the a team that lost 100 games made the playoffs the following season.

2 WC definitely helps with that, but damn, that's still a real nice turnaround if they pull it off.

Not only 100, but 97 games is the most a playoff qualifying team has lost the previous season
