Because these are NL rules. He'll have to wait until the pitchers' spot hits again to take him out.

He can always do a double switch, depending on who's first due up, and who he has on the bench.

Listening to the FS crew talk up the work Grossman put in on D over the offseason makes me like him a lot more as 4th D.

Grain of salt ... Richard also does nothing but find ways to compliment Matt Belisle.

But, yes, he has improved slightly. I'd still appreciate him leaving his glove at home on most days though.

Based on the results of this game thus far, I'm calling for an indefinite moratorium on Sano nickname suggestions.

Sliding safely under the catcher's tag: "Sano place like home!:

En route to third for his annual triple:  "Miguel rounding second on his Sanomobile!"

Making his second error of a ballgame: "Sanoooobody knows the trouble he's seen..."

Almost hate to say this, but just checked the gameday, in a minibus on the way to the beach---

Waaaaaaaat?!?!

Erv cleared the bases with a double?!?

Awesome!!

Can't wait to catch the highlights later!

"Don't stop now, boys!"

Neither of you guys ... I enjoy your particular brands of weirdness.

Thanks, and if you change your mind, no hard feelings. My own family has been filtering me for years.

2 years ago today, a current Twins pitcher threw a no hitter!

BTW, if you EVER have a chance to watch a game in this park, go out of your way to do so - was there a couple years ago, and my day started with a gay pride parade, started by a line od 300 choppers or so, followed by a great afternoon game, Baumgartner hitting the winning HR, hours spent looking at the bay. My wife hates baseball, and even she agreed it was a highlight of the trip.

That was a chance to blow it wide open

Don't worry, there will be plenty more when Santana is pulled.

Oh, you meant a chance for the Twins to blow it wide open, I'll bet. Sorry.

It's the best park I've seen. 2nd best ain't close either.

I don't know, man. Belisle had that inning last night ... that's gotta make up for all of the rest. My faith is completely restored.

Went to Pittsburgh last year - pretty close for me, but yeah, the best for sure.

Candlestick Park was the best park in the league to watch empty plastic shopping bags swirl around in little outfield trashnados.

Not sure if that's helpful to the discussion.

I'm an identity thief, and my next mark is one Derek Falvey.

In all seriousness, a 27 year old with a .400 OBP and an .850 OPS feels like a nice piece to go in front of your franchise slugger, no?

What did I miss? What does Falvey have to do with Grossman? He was here when Falvey got here.

Does this have something to do with the somewhat recent Twincities.com article that headlined, "Twins Falvey shows initiative, grit from the start"?

Is he really getting some sort of credit for walking in the building and literally doing nothing that meaningfully affects the current makeup roster or coaching staff (other than signing Castro)? He should probably be chastised for the abominable bullpen, which has cost this team a semi-comfortable division cushion.

It featured in one of the Dirty Harry movies, and the mayor got kidnapped after leaving the game.

Ranks up there with Keezar Stadium....

I think you should be in consideration for Twins guest Color Commentary. "Trashnado" indeed.

Your Comment Either went over my head or Piranha's comment went over yours and I can't tell which one.

He seemed to be venting the frustration of his ERA creeping over 2.

Santana seems to be on a mission.

By the way, I think a guy I work with is going to the Giants game tomorrow. Hopefully, Berrios is on form and throwing his patented whiffle curve.

I imagine my random utterances being greeted much like Dick prodding gingerly at the guy who grabbed Pujols' 600th home run as if he were an extraterrestrial who wandered into the booth.

And the above furthers my mission: LaBombo for Color Commentary!

I think you should take Bremer's spot opposite Torii.

Fenway - watched a lot of ball there, really out of this world.

Camden - it started the trend, and I got to tour the park w/o baseball, and it is timeless. Excellent conception of a ballpark.

We already talked ATT, and PNC, just top notch.

Target, not too shabby.

Been to Wrigley a bunch, and like it less each time I go.

Comiskey was a favorite.

SD has a fine park too that I toured but never saw a game.

Please explain to your friend that he is going to a Twins Game.

"Boy, he would've ridden Nunez pretty hard."

Does Dick think before he speaks?

Yes, but about things like whether the economies of Virginia and Pennsylvania were already entrepreneurial and capitalist in 1740.

I've never been to Petco but I think it would crack the top 5 once I attend a game. It looks amazing.

I also rank Miller Park on my list. Can't explain it... I just like it.
