USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Did anybody spot Danchat in the Champion's Club on last night's telecast?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I am noticing a strong correlation between Andrew Albers throwing baseballs and baseballs traveling long distances. I think it's because he pitches to contact in power zones!
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Two things by now seem obvious! Don't throw fastballs in to Dozier, and don't run on Rosario! What is not pvvious is why do u spend all that money on scouting if you don't pay any attention to it?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Well that'll probably be an unearned run!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Can someone remind me why Albers isn't pitching in South Korea right now?
adorduan Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Let's be honest, Sano sucks in the field.
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Park recommended him to the Twins? Said he was his favorite pitcher?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Can someone remind me why Albers isn't pitching in South Korea right now?The US has been running a trade imbalance for decades??
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 http://www.dcsportbikes.net/gallery/data/2451/MattFoley.pngI can't see real good is that Beltre-Andrus on the left side of the infield?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Can someone remind me why Albers isn't pitching in South Korea right now?Because they have good scouting!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Well that'll probably be an unearned run!"probably"??
Jham Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 That was an athletic but super slow and terrible tag by jr murph. Come on Andrew!
Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Hey, maybe we can bunch all our fifth starters into one shared game. Albers, Dean, Duffey, maybe throw Mejia in there. That's 6 or seen innings. And sure Molly and Allen can figure out a way to use five other guys in relief to finish the home game.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Author Posted September 4, 2016 Hey, Morneau isn't playing today.Yeah, that's why I have the heart by Kepler.
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I just don't think you can be a continual contender with this fielding. I think the OF can be OK as is. I like both Polanco and Sano, but you either need dominant pitching or better fielding. Ugn
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Got about 5 minutes until the movie starts. It is already on silent. But there is another assymetry what bothers me.They always tell ya to turn 'em off at the beginning, but rarely tell ya to turn 'em back on afterwards.http://i0.wp.com/www.teamjimmyjoe.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/vintage-pee-wee-herman-movie-theater.jpg?resize=600%2C623 Be careful if someone asks you to hold their hotdog.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Why do we continue to trot out scrub pitchers that we found in some dumpster?

Platoon Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Polanco isn't anywhere near elite. Small things, poor flip to second the other night to kill a DP etc. he isn't any worse than Santana or Esco, or Nunez. But those are low bars.

I'm happy with his OBP and him being above average defensively. So far, he seems better than anyone we've had there since Hardy.
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I love the sound produced by Sano walloping a pitch - even a single.

UgnYeah, what diffence does it make if Sano hits 35HR's a year of he gives back a bunch of those runs with his glove. He's a butcher out there.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Polanco is not an mlb-caliber shortstop.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 BuckkkkkkkWhat's gotten into him?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jham Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 As much fun as it is watching Buxton use his speed, it's pretty fun watching him not use it!
jimmer Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Buxton gets to keep his leg kick.
