I'm sure Napoli  is wondering how Mauer was allowed to make a catch that far into the stands.  In Philadelphia they would have stolen his glove and probably tried to stab him.  Or at least that's what I've heard.

re Logan Schafer- I didn't know anything much about him other than his Rochester stats.  I am

astounded to see that we just called up a 29-year-old to start in center, who has been in the big leagues for almost 300 games and has a career OPS+ of 66.  Huh. Interesting.

I play Oregon Trail with a bunch of Twins Daily members on the wagon. We get to see who survives and who succumbs to dysentery.

Bert just said Ploiffe is DH'ing because Sano's elbow is feeling better. Seems weird just to do a 1 for 1 swap of the superior defender vs the superior hitter just to give Sano reps at third. Not really doing Santiago any favors.
