Game Thread: Twins vs. White Sox 7-31 @ 1:10 PM CT

Taylor Rogers isn't usually this wild, is he?

[70charger]

Particularly bad time for an error, but I see that that's four for the Twins. How are they even in this game?

[Aggies7]

Wonderful

[Aggies7]

Do we have a single prospect that doesn't have a glaring and deadly shortcoming?

[Willihammer]

Let's see if Vargas can get in on this too. Errors all around the infield!

[HitInAPinch]

Rogers has been pretty good until this inning.

[Danchat]

The Twins are playing White Sox-like defense. 4 errors already!!!

Ummmmm... Max Kepler? (ducks away, tries not to jinx Kepler)

But yeah it seems like they all have had a glaring weakness and had to be demoted...

[Willihammer]

I hear Chi Wei Hu is lights out- oh nm.

Agree. Not a future closer but looks like a decent lefty option for next year.

[70charger]

It's an error party.

I'm not having fun.

[Willihammer]

Great instincts Miguel

[70charger]

Okay I'm having a little more fun.

[howeda7]

This is brutal. I was not on the Sano can't play 3B train. But, he can't...

[Danchat]

Wow, our defense is trying as hard as they can to lose this game.

pinch running Kepler for Vargas.  interesting.

Mauer should go in to play first in the ninth

You called it. Gotta believe his D is better than Vargas's anyway.

Sorry. Can't share in the Sano disgust with all of you. All he needs is practice, coaching, practice, and maturity, which comes with time. I'm gonna hang with him a while.

[glunn]

Pressly might make a solid closer next year?

[Jerr]

ohh oooo Morneau....

If not next year then soon afterward.

This. He might need a day off, but the minors? Come on.

[spinowner]

[Jerr]

[70charger]

Winner!

Oh yes. And more. My list was just off the top of my head.

[glunn]

Not a pretty win, but at least they won.
