Great fan and great thing he did.  Hat's off to him!  http://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/attachments/private-seller-auction-seller-reviews/64672d1325846269-hats-off-harpua2002-applause-hat-tipping.jpg

Reusse today did not insinuate, he flat out said that Sano is currently only interested in hitting, wants to be a mega star, and does not consider defense a part of that goal. Currently they have had little luck changing that situation. Reusse also contends, and I tend to agree that Sano is the most impactful player they have had in ten years, since M&M. And that for this team to ever have success Sano needs to understand the importance of work, and defense.

That is an interesting thing for Sano to say to Reusse.

I look forward to reading that interview.

He has no plan to drive the ball and makes that clear in every AB.

IMO, what he makes clear with every AB is he has no ability to drive the ball.

I continue to believe we're going to learn at some point that Dozier is nursing an arm issue. Every throw is a rainbow of one degree or another.

Hair gel on his hands makes it hard to get a good grip on the ball.

Most of the plays i notice he fails to set his feet, or any other part of his body for the throw.

Small wonder if there is some arc.

Occasionaly that is due to the need to beat the runner, but i wouldn't be surprised if he is just living the good life of a short range second baseman.

How is he on the relay?

Go back and watch the 4-2-3 DP the other night in Boston.  If any ball, ever, needed to be rifled to home, that was it.  It was yet another rainbow.  Same on a DP ball from last weekend.

Same for every throw I've seen him make.  He hasn't been able to throw hard, even when needed.
