If a flock of crows can be a 'murder',   maybe we could make the collective noun for the platypus an 'aggravated assault'.    I mean,   come on,   if there's a bunch of the little weirdos ganging up then it's got to mean they're up to no good.

Hmmm, interesting point.

I suppose we could call the 2016 Twinks a "Murder of Baseball."

This is where we need Tim Laudner catching.

He'd call for the same pitch in the same location.

And it's basically a coin flip between a ball and a strike for the umpire when the batter takes a pitch,   because there's no way he's seeing around Laudner's enormous 5 gallon bucket head.

Surely he was an only child.

anyone listening to Jack, Bert and Anthony right now? Slamming the team, pretty much, AND OF COURSE, Bert and Jack comparing their complete games to pitchers nowadays and they question why our guys can't have a ton of complete games too.

And, haha, Bert just said Ervin Santana, Nolasco and Hughes could be pitchers like Jack and Bert. Guys you can be counted on to stop losing streaks and such. Stopper type pitchers.

Good God! Fire them all.

Yup,   either that or his mom was big enough to get it on with the Jolly Green Giant.

That was a great... Catch... Umm... Trap.

Yeah.    Didn't look right even at full speed on TV.   Dick is disadvantaged by either his vantage point from one of the best seats in the house,   or as one of the hardest-working professional optimists in baseball.

Why was May brought in to the 3rd inning? Does this team actually have anything that resembles a plan?

Yes but it cannot be revealed until they win there 15th game. Early July?

May owes Santana a steak for that one!

He still does, even after Umpire Ackbar made his ruling...

Anybody who'd lay out for a fly ball during another drubbing in the middle of this season-long sewage plant system failure deserves a free meal at the very least.

I'm clinging to the hope that he's being stretched to go back to the rotation.

Not that it's likely, but it's really all I have to cling to.

Trying to find a safe landing spot for someone he isn't trusting right now. Kinda Like the Salt Flats for your teenager to practice driving.

I thought that too for a second,  and then I just poked myself in the eye,  because that's just as useful as wishing this organization would wise up,   and half as painful.

I caught the video of Allen talking to May.

I'm imagining the conversation went something like this:

Allen: What the bleepity bleep bleep was that?

May: What?

Allen; Because you bleeping bleep bleep bleepity aren't bleeping bleep bleep getting the job done, you're bleeping bleep going down, son.

May: Huh?

Allen: You're bleepity bleeping bleep bet your bleepity you're gone to bleeping AAA tomorrow.

The excuse for keeping May in the bullpen was that he's too valuable there to move back to the rotation.

If he no longer has value in the pen he should be moved back into the rotation.

Wonder how Craig Breedlove's slider looks now... we know he has the #1.

It's decent logic... Other than... you know... May pitching really bad at this moment.

Nah ... Paul Molitor breezed by this morning and removed any shred of faith I may have formerly held in him.
