HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 it's too bad Einstein couldn't hit, we have an opening on the 40 man.http://www.dcclothesline.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/einstein-laughing.jpg
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 We'll find out, if Fien ever is put in for a ninth inning. Sorry, I got carried away, the other team seldom bats in the bottom of the ninth!
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Yeah u win some, and you lose some! But the somes should be a tad closer than they have been!

bluechipper Provisional Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Well that was an embarrassing offensive performance. If they have trouble making contact off a garbage pitcher like Tanner Roark, I'll be interested how many K's they rack up against Strasburg tomorrow.

Normally a team getting 2 hits and 4 walks would expect to score 0.45378912253 runs. Instead they came up with 0.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Every Twins starter struck out at least 2 times, except Rosario. Go figure.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 You forgot the other 16? I hear a chant somewhere: Mauer and Sano! The rest must go! Mauer and Sano! The rest must go!
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 18 strikeouts today. I may try to go to the bar tonite and see if I can match that. Surely, I couldn't be that pathetic!! And once again, an embarrassing showing on one side of the ball after another quality outing by Hughes. I don't know what else we can expect this pitching staff to do when they're getting zero support (Gibson's outings notwithstanding).
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Vice President, you say? (is already busy planning a military coup)Not a coup... Just a demonstration of positional flexibility... Sign me up too, RB!

Platoon Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Every Twins starter struck out at least 2 times, except Rosario. Go figure. Easily explained by SSS! It's too early to draw conclusions.
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Platoon is of itself the definition of a flexible mindset! Yet my inclusion into this elitist cult has been completely ignored and avoided. I demand to be named Sec. of Defense immediately. (There is obviously no Sec of Offense).
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I nominate myself for Secretary of State of Denial.
