Interesting Twins Stats to Watch

I was wondering which particular statistic(s) people are most interested in monitoring (other than Twins W/L) with Opening Day just about 24 hours away? For example, I'm curious to see if Rosario can improve his BB/K this year and what Park's K% is going to be.

Just thought I'd see what everyone was thinking!

Can Park hit 25-30 HRs and drive in 80-100 runs.

I watched him against the Nationals I believe and he reminds me of Serrano from Major League.

Coach Brown, Wow!!! this guys hits a ton, why hasnt anyone else picked up on him yet?

Scouts or player director, Ok, no more fastballs, throw him some curveballs,  Swings and misses

Coach Brown, Oh!!?? I see

Parks bats looked afraid of the curveballs.  Ha ha

Hopefully he overcomes that.

1. Buxton BA, OBP, SB - Most intriguing thing going into this season, may be giving this too much attention though

2. Sano/Park Strikeouts/HRs

3. Bullpen ERA K/BB rate

4.Team BA/HR total - Any improvements over last year?

5. Perkins K/ERA/BB - Watching this closely

6-9. Random Crap

10. Mauer BA, K, OBP - Almost don't even care anymore, still hoping he can bring back a stellar season that made him famous.  Shock all of us Joe, cmon!

OBP from someone other than Mauer and Sano (the top two last year).

Definitely team strikeouts.

I second that. I predict and team record, and think this team may also push the MLB record. They were doing quite well practicing striking out in spring training.

Kind of like the old Metrodome, with the AC on?

A few others

I think if Gibson's k-rate is around league avg or higher - say 7 k/9 - he'll be an all-star.

Phil Hughes - keep the HR rate low.

E. Santana - innings pitched.  If he can throw 200+ innings for us, he's probably in good shape.

Here are some:

• Rosario's OF assists.

• Park's BA, OBP, K-rate and home runs.

• Buxton's doubles.

• Nolasco's ERA and W-L.

• Berrios' ERA and W-L in AAA. (directly related to Nolasco's)

• Sano's HR and K-rate.

• Starters' ERAs.

Number of games the Twins win the division by.....we are all in first and my interest does not depend on Twins W/L  record....it's on the other teams!     ;)

So happy to have baseball back again!!!!
