Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Ft. Myers looks beautiful Serious question for those who have been there. How is the bug situation? Roaches, Mosquitos, Scorpions How does the Gulf Coast of Florida compare to Brainerd bug wise? For me none of those are an issue. No-see-ems, on the other hand, ugh. But wearing bug spray solves the problem. My parents building abuts a preserve, so evenings can get mosquito-y. But no worse than anywhere in MN.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 But spring is a drier season. During humid rainy season you will see an uptick of skeeters. And, have to say, in all my time here I have never once seen a roach or Scorpion

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Yeah, I'd be careful of the crunchy bits in the salad. Yeah Either Scorpions or Cactus Needles. Or... Chief just put some random stuff in the salad to gauge the reaction of his guests.

Who is on these selection committees? Yeah, i thought they were a shoe-in following the Maryland upset. At least with Paul Bunyan's shoehorn. Hopefully they will fare better on the path to the frozen four? At least they got a bowl game.
