Twins lineup:

Dozier

Mauer

Sano

Plouffe

Rosario

Quentin

Escobar

Murphy

Buxton

Nolasco

I'm glad the game is on TV today. Good lineup to watch, but I was hoping to see Park instead of Quentin.

Oh, sweet Jesus, Nolasco is pitching.

Why am I forced to watch Nolasco every time I manage to watch a game?

It's really kinda strange.

It's like Molitor is doing it on purpose.

Molly: FSN is broadcasting it? OK.. Let Ricky know he's starting

The Orioles signed Pedro Alverez!!!

I have no idea what Kim is capable of... but... the other projected starting 8 are all capable of 30 dingers.

It may not be fair but I'm having a hard time liking Quentin.

He's got White Sox stuff all over him,

. I'll start liking him if he blows up against the white sox

Nolasco isn't looking good. On the flip side, I think the offense will score a lot of runs this year

I think Pitching is gonna hate Pitching in the AL this year.

If Quentin is healthy (and stays healthy), there's no question in my mind he'd be one of their top half dozen hitters. The question (in addition to health) is, how do you make 40 and 25 man space? He'd be adequate defensively to get a little corner OF and first base time. You could, for example, sit Mauer against a few tough LHers and have Park and Quentin in the lineup.

If Quentin forces his way onto the roster, I'd consider sliding Rosario back to center and going Quentin/Rosario/Sano in the OF.

Yeah, that OF defense will be painful at times but the offensive potency may be enough to offset the difference for a month or two while Buxton works in Rochester.

And the moment I consider a Buxton demotion, Byron goes and does that.

But that pitch was pretty much a gimme. Fastball right in Byron's wheelhouse.

. I still think he is best served starting in Rochester

And a big White Sox shaped stain in LF

I agree but I think Buxton is already the starting opening day CF.

Too late to turn back now.

Rosario in CF or Sweeney or Mastro or Benson in CF would be big mistakes.
