Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I think I'd trade any of our young studs for Lindor. He looks to be a generational talent.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Long time, no posts. Hope you've all been enjoying this run by the Twins. It's been fun.I think I just ran out of things to say although I did lurk around a bit.Hicks on 1st. No outs. Let's do some scoring here.Nice to "see" you JB. You were missed.
jimmer Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Seeing Suzuki hit in to a double play, and the fact that the Twins started Chris Hermann last night in that lost double hitter game, is a painful reminder that the Twins had a chance to do something about the back up catcher spot, someone that could have done some filling in for Suzuk. I think their problem was not addressing the STARTING catcher position not the backup catcher position :-)
mikeee Provisional Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Be nice to see Dozier get 30 dingers before the end of the season.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 How many times have the Twins gone through the order at least once before getting a single hit?
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Lindor, Correa and Russell. Could be the next ARod, Jeter, Nomar group in regards to overall talent. They certainly could be. The only one the Twins could have taken was Russell as well, he went 11th the year Buxton went #2. I want to see what people have to say about Buxton this time next year, I really do think he will be special player.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Atta boy, Joe! Double over his head in left. LOVE it. Good ball.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 How many times have the Twins gone through the order at least once before getting a single hit?At least there was a walk And that's a stat I'm not I want to know!
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 My comment was in no way a slight on Buxton or the Twins selection of him, for the record. I figured as much, just stating they were top picks. I would love to have any of them.....and Buxton

If his recent performance is any sign what he might be capable of on a regular basis, look out.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 How many times have the Twins gone through the order at least once before getting a single hit? That worked well. How many times have the Twins gone four or more innings without scoring a run to start the game?
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Mauer is an on base machine. Is that streak still ongoing?
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Bauer can't handle the Plouffe!

stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 That worked well. How many times have the Twins gone four or more innings without scoring a run to start the game? How many times have they gone the first four innings and only scored a single run?

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Double, doubleLet's do it again.Or not.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Plouffe RIPS an RBI double to CF. 1-0 Twins!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 How many times have they gone the first four innings and only scored a single run?Oh well. Keep reaching until someone says stop.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Is that streak still ongoing? Nope. It ended last week on that ugly game where Detroit came back and scored 5 runs late.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 If I were a Cleveland fan I'd have gotten sick of the drum about 30 years ago.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Not exactly a great route Torii. While I know the wind moved that ball, if Hunter went to the right spot, he could catch that ball.
jimmer Verified Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Hicks catches that.what happened?
