Why the hell does everyone want to trade Milone?  He will still be cheap next year, and he won't get  a piece that we need anyway (SS, catcher) in a trade. Dump Nolasco or even Hughes to the pen if need be.  He should be in the starting rotation next year.  Too bad we can't clone his brain into a few of the other guys.

The best is going to be when Nolasco is in the opening day rotation and Berrios is back in Rochester.

Heh...  I was looking for the "I wanna puke" button, and hit "like" by mistake.

Same warning as in the Hughes, Pelrey, etc thread ...

Stop taking pot shots at one another. Disagree and discuss ... and then let it go! I'm really tired of this 'less-than-adult' behavior from some of you. Quit being so offended by others' opinions ... they are just opinions and we are all entitled to them. If someone doesn't like what you have to say? So what. Say what you need to ... without making it and taking it personally, without just having to throw in 'that kind' of a comment ... then let it go.

On MLB Network today, Jonathan Mayo says Berrios was the best right handed pitcher in the minors this year and got even better when he moved from AA to AAA.  He finished praising Berrios by saying 'The only mystery is why he's not up in the big leagues trying to help the Twins in their wild card push right now.'

Honestly, because there's too many pitchers for too few spots.  Milone, while he's done well, has little upside and is replacable right now in the system by guys with higher long term upside.

I disagree.  "Too many pitchers" is rarely, if ever a problem.

These things have a way of working themselves out, through attrition if nothing else.  Nine viable starting pitchers isn't a problem.  Five will soon become one.

If we were willing to let him come up this year and finish the year in the bullpen, why not let him start next year in the bullpen? Why wait a month or two?
