There was the super-goofy error we were all waiting to see. Amazing!

My guess is they had a play on and Abreu missed the sign. Flowers should still have been able to hold the ball.

t has gotten to the point this year that it isn't a game against the Sox if there isn't some sort of errant throw by a Sox player somewhere into the outfield.

 

So, what's the over/under on Sox errors in today's game? I see a trend of 2 per game, one of which will be some sort of egregious throwing error.

 

 

 

Blake didn't say book it but he should have.

That wasn't the best at bat by Dozier. 

 

Got himself in the hole by swinging at two pitches he shouldn't have. 

 

I think he had salami on the brain there.

He's got an OBP of .296 since July 1, and one steal.

 

Brian's a fine ballplayer, and it's not his fault he's pretty much flamed out in the second half.   But at some point Molitor needs to consider another option to lead off.
