Jerr Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Good night, you princes of Minnesota, kings of the Midwest. And to all the Twins Ladies, they are the best
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 If this keeps up - there is going to be a glut of recently purchased pitchforks that will be lacking use. http://home.earthlink.net/~reetjournal1/MedoraMusicalFondue_Pitchforks.jpg
David HK Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 And wow, 6 in a row on the road?!? We haven't done that since we were good. It's even nicer to do it against the very teams we're contending with for the WC.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Shout a hip hooray!!!!!!We were cheering for the Minnesota Twins today.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 DaveW: rescue dogSaint Bernard has been used
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Hunter: Old Yeller He might be remembered more because he propelled the Twins to a third World Series win, or hindered the growth of young Twins outfielders. But who didn't cry when Old Yeller got shot?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Saint Bernard has been usedlol, okay ... DaveW: dog from the pound

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 "the tramp" would have worked tooActually, that's pretty good ... heh
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I figured this out finally. The Twins started their series in Baltimore (and their winning streak) on May 32nd!
jun Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 As I said many times, Escobar is clutch and streaky. He has some good power and he is a solid fielder. When he's hot, he could carry the team on his shoulder. I want him to start in spring training. I always think he is a better player than Santana. Better glove and much more power. He is emotional and clutch. He is still young.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 DaveW: rescue dogNo, Yorkie definitely a Yorkie Think about it
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 No, Yorkie definitely a Yorkie Think about it reported for personal insults.
wickedslider Provisional Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Great to see that the Angels lost to Detroit earlier and that Toronto has a 10-2 lead over Texas in the 5th. If Texas loses too, we are in the 2nd WC spot! Go back 2 weeks ago, and who'd a thunk?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 reported for personal insults. Actually ... not sure why I didn't think of this already ... DaveW: Dachshund

I could see him knocking 12 to 15 hrs a year to go along with 25 to 30 dbls, 50-60 rbi, and to avg .260ish. Although who knows what his defensive stats would reveal?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Berrios with 12k in 6IP (3 H and 0 R) The future is now
walt-o-meal Provisional Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Berrios with 12k in 6IP (3 H and 0 R)The future is now That's like 10 Ks per inning. Outstanding!
jun Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Sano, Buxton, Hicks, Rosario, Escobar, Kepler, Dozier and Vargas along with a good hitting catcher would make a scary lineup. Good hitting, good power and good fielding.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Avalanche? Considering the attendance, I'd say trickle. That's why I went with the "dozens" thing, because the stadium seats fifty bajillion and... Oh, crap. If you have to explain it.... My bad.
