DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Sano! 40% k rate tonight, but a great example how K Rate isn't everything. (Cough cough) Call up Arcia Or Vargas' ShouldaCouldaWoulda 1
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 My church is rowdier than this ballpark. we are at the stadium, 90% has cleared out. Insanely long game. Work night etc etc Gibby and glunn 2
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I know this has been alluded to before, but the way Sano looks the Twins will never be able to pay him when the time comes. Therefore, one can't help envisioning him (please, stab me in the eyes with a knitting needle!) in a Yankees uniform one day. (The kid will deserve all the money he can make, it won't be his fault. But still. I need my mind wiped clean. glunn 1

howeda7 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 It's sad watching Hunter limp to the finish....
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 How low can Hunter go? My prediction (the only one I will make this year) stands: By this weekend Buxton is playing OF and Hunter is sitting.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Now would be a good time to see Eddie swing at one at eye level and pull it over the RF wall
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Next time someone tries to tell you velocity isn't important, show them this inning. Then take him to BBRef and show him Betances' K rate.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I've decided that the Yankees have a pretty good bullpen.
S. Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 It's sad watching Hunter limp to the finish.... It's going to be even more sad all next season. (But seriously, please don't extend Hunter. Please.)

howeda7 Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I think they come up with an injury and DL him until September. In all honestly, I think he needs it anyway. How low can Hunter go? My prediction (the only one I will make this year) stands: By this weekend Buxton is playing OF and Hunter is sitting.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Jepsen- extend this game maybe (please!!!!!)

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 They'll wait till Buxton's hot streak is over, and call him up just in time for the inevitable slump to follow. Hosken Bombo Disco, David HK and SydneyTwinsFan 3
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I know Perk isn't a LOOGY but would it not make sense to bring himIn here?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Molitor foresaw extra innings, else he'd have pinchrun for Sano. Shut 'em down (or up. Both are good) Jepsen!
