ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 It was probably thought more effective than 'team Twins Daily loves to hate.'TD'ers love to DERIDE the Twins, not hate them.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Hey Gibby, I'm about to fry a steak... How hot should I turn the knob?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 That bobble head commercial must have come from the same firm that did the naked payday bar ad.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 TD'ers love to DERIDE the Twins, not hate them. No hate here. I've loved them since I was 5 years old.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Hey Gibby, I'm about to fry a steak... How hot should I turn the knob? I complained to the manager of Whole Foods, about the crappy steaks they have been selling to my wife. He gave me a $75 gift card...so I'd go on high.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I love Beautiful Loser. That reminds me, tomorrow is Saturday! Who's going down to Prior Lake? You remember, Uncle Joe?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Well that didn't take long at all... I have no idea if the steak is going to be good or not yet... Because I think I'm supposed to look at it awhile before eating. So... The Molecules or whatever... Do whatever they do while it sits there.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 That reminds me, tomorrow is Saturday! Who's going down to Prior Lake? You remember, Uncle Joe? Afraid to cut the cake

Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Isn't that like going to the pet shop to complain about your dead parrot and having the store give you 5 more dead parrots. No, I'm getting dead beef, to my specifications.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Thanks Joe I think its important to say thank you every once in awhile. You can also thank Joe for that last play (heard it on radio; it sounded good)

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Couple of misplays by Sano, according to Bremer. I was going to post something snarky about the first one, but the second occurred so quickly that it would seem like piling on.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Panic in the Red Wings' locker room earlier tonight, when it turned out that, in a colossal mixup, Chih-Wei Hu is the only person in the Red Wings organization informed of his trade to the Rays: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/oFXszIFkiAQ/maxresdefault.jpg "Where'd Huuuu go?!?"
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 That 7-5 outcome suggested earlier, is starting to look like a best case scenario, all of a sudden.

The kind that makes a manager turn to his coaches and say... "Well I can't play him over there again".
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 The site must have crashed... At least it wasn't getting to Michigan for awhile. Gave me time to eat my steak. It didn't turn out bad... But i think I used to much Peanut Butter and Jelly on the Ribeye.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Another low throw from Polanco for the third out. Yes, first basemen are supposed to execute the scoop, but the SS is still putting his fate in another man's hands^H^H^H^H^H^H glove when he does it too much. I watched Polanco during spring training but evidently not enough because I don't recall this happening then. Now I understand the reserve about him sticking at short. Crossing fingers, maybe it's coachable and correctable.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 It's a pretty good sign of power in a swing when what looks like a one-hop double off the wall as it comes off the bat ends up clearing the wall by several feet..

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 No, I'm getting dead beef, to my specifications."A remarkable steak, the Brown Shoeleather. Not to worry, it's just pining for the Pecos River."

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 The site is still pretty balky for me.
