spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 So this game could be significant for a pitcher. Lohse defeats his 30th team or Meyer gets his first win. Riverbrian and formerly33 2
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Alex Meyer gets his low-leverage situation...in the 1st inning, 1 out, 6 to 1 Brewers. Well, with the game already blown up, go ahead and show us some flames, kid. Riverbrian 1

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Get all the BAD out of your systems tonight, boys. I want a Split in the Twins favor. Riverbrian 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 I gotta get up early so I can make the drive to Milwaukee in time for the game. At least now.. I won't have a close Twins game keeping me from retiring early. You gotta look at the bright side when you can JB_Iowa 1
Blake Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Ugghhh. Well, with some good at bats, the Twins can perhaps knock Lohse out of the game.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 So, a little more Horner music... Riverbrian 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I went to my high school reunion last weekend, and I was amazed at how old people looked because while I look older than I did when I was 18, I think I look much younger than my age. But I got a lot of comments from people on how young I looked, and I commented that it does have its disadvantages. After a long day of running up and down the stairs, hauling arm loads of music here and there, a seat on the bus would be nice, but I don't look 'old enough' for anyone to be so generous.Concur. You don't look old enough. Then again, any self-respecting gentleman would yield his seat to a woman. Riverbrian 1

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Hmmm... Sounds like a low leverage situation to try out new rally material... Any ideas?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Well, this is one DVR I won't be watching. Actually, I'd like to see Meyer's first outing, rocky though it was.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Meyer's ERA is 221.621.6. Must have been a fat-finger slip. ScrapTheNickname 1

COtwin Provisional Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I know this is already passed, but I am hearing Bert talk about May throwing the ball away on the throw to second. But it looked like the second base umpire was standing in Mays throwing lane to second and that threw May off. Did anyone else see that?
