I have been skeptical of the "lingering effects of concussion" theories.  Both he and the Twins have said just the opposite, for quite some time.

 

But I'm starting to wonder if there isn't something to those theories. 

 

Something has to be wrong.  He doesn't even make loud outs any more, and teams have stopped defending right field.

I haven't really been skeptical of those concussion theories, but I'm surprised it's not getting any better, and even getting worse. Although I do recall Morneau going through something like this too. He was like a different player.

 

Actually, speaking of, I really hope he's okay. He himself said - before this past concussion - that another one might end his career.
