Nolasco will also undergo on an MRI exam on his ankle. And the results will come in the next day or two.

If it's an ankle, Nolasco could be fine in time to avoid the DL

Sounds like Nolasco has an ankle injury. Makes TJ less likely, I'd think.

Yeah, I don't think they replace ankle ligaments, at least not with elbow ones.

Ha ha, well that is a good thing ankle should be temporary

It was selfish to pitch to 2 batters after an injury. I get it, but it pisses me off.

Going to have to disagree with that'n, Gibby.

Players are expected to play, even when not at 100 percent.  If they didn't, you'd need 50 man rosters.

I would agree with you If it was any other sport, or position. The mechanics are too complex to think a tweak to either ankle wont affect results.

Even plausible that he can throw just as good, but the injury created something which tipped his pitches...

Line between success and failure for a pitcher can be awful thin.

(Not that i saw anything, it just could be...)

That said, if we knew that's what would happen, we can still wish it hadn't.

Crap, my dirt is here. I gotta go move 2 pallets of limestone now.

Is this new baseball lingo? Sounds a little like Hutterite. Translation: Dozier gets his uniform dirty diving for a Donaldson line drive ("My dirt is here"), and whips the ball to first to double off the hustling Reyes ("move 2 pallets of limestone").

I have a lot of experience as an injured player. :)

Being of a certain age, sometimes nature gives a call at an ungodly hour-  so, says me, just flip on a game feed for a moment-  Graham is on the mound, Stauffer is warming up-  is this a bad dream, or what?  I feel like the girl in Poletegeist, coming home with a neck fulla hickeys, and screaming---  What's Happening?!?  WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?

I expect that's true, and not even close...

I am not without some experience playing stupidly through injuries myself.

Anyway, Toronto plays the small ball, advancing to second on Hunter bobble, being bunted to third, and coming in on a sac fly.

3-1 CBU, eh?

  I'm a know-it-all...I really shouldn't focus on the game.

I think you have that wrong.

A Star for effort.
