This Thompson girl is really having a nice start to the season!

You probably like her distant cousin, then.

Please note:  The Twins won both games where I did the thread intro.   I should retire now with an unblemished record.

At least he's not asking you why you don't have a $240M contract.

For some reason, not so much. Not sure what it is ...

Today I was playing baseball, and I hit a ball deep down the left field line and the bat broke, it was well out, but the umpire said, "I didn't get a good look at it" and asked the pitcher what he thought, the pitcher said it was foul, so the ump called it foul. I guess the ump was trying to get to the big leagues.

Looked foul to me.

id like to see Stauffer or Boyer go away for Oliveros

Yeah, Dan Gladden said, "Why do you need to pay a long reliever 2.2 million, it seems like the easiest position to replace, just go get a washed up AAA starter and pay him league minimum, he would probably perform just as good as we got."

Gotta go give some bowling lessons

Spoiler alert: try to knock them all down, every time, the same way each time, because they don't move on their own.

Says the man who played LF and whose OPS+ was 76 and 80 for the two pennant winners he played on, and earned good money for the era while doing so.

I'm with ya. Everyone I work with is a Mariners fan, so this is a pretty big game for me.

I know how you feel ... I'm surrounded by ChiSox fans, so I know how much I want them to win when they are here (or the ChiSox are there). I pretty much ignore the Cubs fans. ;)
