Before the season ends, RB, will you say one more nice thing about the rubber band for us? Thanks, HBD. :)

Ah yes... The Rubber band... It was a tough rubber band. It lasted until June 22... It tried to stay alive against the White Sox but the Angels on June 24th finally started the final ripping apart. Johan Pino was part of the emergency crew but Johan Pino just wasn't enough.

In 2015... We will have a new rubber band and this time it will be the Twins who destroy it in May.

Not really a highlight, but most of the season, the team has made pretty good pitchers throw a lot of pitches and get them out of games pretty early.

Hanging with String was also a highlight for me.

Nah... Nothing should be taken seriously. I was once standing in the middle of a road and ambulance was coming straight for me.

I didn't take it seriously and after the ambulance hit me. It picked me up and took me in.

Everything worked out fine.

Took you in? To? I bet most TDer's assumed they took you in to a "hospital". (Large building with patients)

But instead, you said "take me somewhere with patience". So they drove you to the local VFW, slowly!

Hunter 82 RBI, 33 2B, .290-ish average.

Did you see how he gave D. Santana a friendly hug at third base?

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Twins outfield.

I know this is controversial, and I'm not the GM wearing a disguise (in case anyone was wondering).

Is his defense as terrible as some people say it is? (Baseball Reference grades his DWAR at -2.5).

I'm just saying if I see him in a Twins uniform next year, I'll say, "Hey, there's Torii, cool." And I won't care if they don't add him either.

I only have one qualm about Tori, he won't be hitting in front of Miggy and Martinez at TF

I see you've penalized him one "I" for that

Alright bring on the Tigers Pen... Umm... I mean Achilles heal.

Whenever I ask myself how a pro sports franchise like the Tigers can address a glaring deficiency year in and year out and yet manage not only not fix it, but often make it worse, I usually end up chuckling as I think "Vikings defensive backfield".

Some artistic license is necessary when you're trying to sell a team whose rotation can barely break glass year in and year out.

May looking better in the second.

I just tuned in when dick was trying to sell me season tickets for next year, but I was busy talking to a guy on the phone from India selling me new home siding. I thought the siding sounded like a better investment.

Wow... Your right... I'm getting close... I didn't notice.

Let there be no doubt... This makes me the biggest loudmouth on TD

Doubt was never a thought.

Amazing what re-purposed season ticket dollars can buy you from the other side of the world.  Guy a couple doors down told me this winter he decided not to renew, and a few weeks later I signed for a big Fedex box for him marked "Caution.  This side up.  Contains bride".

Seeing the nice crowd at Comerica got me thinking...

A lot of TD people were athletes or other types of performers -- music, primarily. What was the biggest group of people who ever saw you in the field of play or on stage?

Me, maybe a couple hundred. I'm like Spinal Tap. My public is very discriminating.

OH MY. I thought he meant Frankie V

A viola, not The Viola.  But now that you mention it, if I could pick any Twin to listen to as he answers what he's doing riding on the trunk of an Accord or the roof of a Caravan, it's hard to think of anyone more fun than the guy with the New Yawk accent.  Al Newman gets honorable mention.

2014 no matter what... Was a special year.

I got to meet in person... Glunn... Ash... Bark... Chief... ChiTown... Diehard... North... Snepp and String.... And some drunk people who hung out with Snepp plus all the wife's. All... Are gonna be friends of mine until they say something mean about Ben Revere.

Because of this... Nothing on the field could sour the year.

Biggest disappointment... Learning that Sconnie was doin the pub crawl and I was probably 5 feet from him and still not knowing and not getting introduced... Also the disappearance of Gibby from the game threads... Where did he go?

We bought one for a bachelors surprise bday house party... At the last second we left it in the car, took in cigars instead. It proved fortuitous, as his minister, and two young nieces opened gifts for him.... I think it wold have been one of life's smaller moments!

Brian I think you should just make four posts in a row about the game and be done with the suspense.

Maybe 300, I was umpiring... I must have been very good, the crowd kept yelling my name!

Saw? With Sight being the keyword... I sang the National Anthem at a U. Of North Dakota Hockey Game... Stood on the ice in front of 11,640.

The chorus starts at exactly the one minute mark.  Substitute Gibby at the start.

my largest audience was in college, I doing one armed keg-stands in front of 250 drunk people... Talk about discerning audiences

It has been nice watching May become bearable to watch. He has improved noticeably and I really hope he continues.

His ERA-to-Fip/xFip was awfully close to two to one before tonight.  Just rocky out of the gate, and he's hardly the first guy to give up a hydrogen bomb to MiGCab.  Really good way for him to end the season.
