Text him back and let him know Anderson isn't responsible for the hitting, fielding, or baserunning.

I believe he was referring to the part when Hughes was getting hit hard.....

Fixed.

That was better than what I was going to suggest ... taking concur lessons from Chief.

I am going to try to time my 7000th post for when Meyer or May debut, so I need to figure out how to pace myself until October, 2025.

I'd go to bed now, but I'm waiting for Chief. I can hear it now from my grandchildren-" where were you, Grandpa, when Chief went over 7000?"

true, also the part inside the L green line and blue line. Neither of which a "side"

The Blue line goes to the west side ... the green line also goes to the west side and south side

Geez, ChiTown...nothing like putting the pressure on someone.  What if 7000 is a dud?

Well ... you just gotta go for it ... it very well could be ...

Could it be any worse than the last 3 1/2 years of Twins Baseball™?

If it is, that would be really sad.

I'd have went with "could it be any worse than the 6999 before it?"

Edit:  Nice hanging curve you served up there, Snepp m'boy...much appreciated.

RB taught me a new grip, I can really leave them floating up there now.

That's what everyone was listening to in 1974 ... Paper Lace was #1... Somebody bought a copy.

I found a full track list.  (It was something to do while the Twins were throwing the game away.)

The Night Chicago Died  Paper Lace

Takin' Care Of Business  Bachman-Turner Overdrive

This Flight Tonight  Nazareth

Be Thankful For What You Got  William DeVaughn

I Shot The Sheriff  Eric Clapton

Hollywood Swinging  Kool & the Gang

Stuck In The Middle With You  Stealers Wheel

I'm A Train  Albert Hammond

Rock Your Baby  George McCrae

Honky Cat  Elton John

Seasons In The Sun  Terry Jacks

Rock & Roll Hoochie Koo  Rick Derringer

Meet Me At The Corner Down At Joe's Cafe  Peter Noone

Save The Last Dance For Me  The DeFranco Family

Rings  Lobo

The Lord's Prayer  Sister Janet Mead

Love's Theme  Love Unlimited Orchestra

Show And Tell  Al Wilson

On An On  Gladys Knight & the Pips

Let's Put It All Together  The Stylistics

They must have had some different versions, because I've never heard of "Meet Me At The Corner Down At Joe's Cafe" (but the Youtube video has some cool old footage of London), and I know the Gladys Knight song was Midnight Train (and I don't remember ever hearing On and On, but I probably would have skipped it every time)

EDIT - formatting - table didn't save the first time.

And now, ladies and gentlement, a haiku for Chief...

Yes, concur, winnah!

You know where you stand with Chief.

It's a TD thing.

(oops... originally typed "It's a TB thing," but tuberculosis wasn't what I meant.)

The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only.  There is no stopping in the red zone.

There's a dedicated forum for discussion of the Vikings defense.
