The Stroman kid is highly ranked prospect for the Blue Jays and he should be fun to watch. That's All

And i don't think you were late. Thread existed before game started. Yeah, let's see how Nuñez does at his normal position.
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Does it seem Santana gets nearly picked off on every single throw over? He may break Span's record for getting picked off on a regular basis. I noticed his SB percentage was pretty poor in the minors, but I wonder how many of those were spinning his wheels and getting picked off where he wasn't really attempting a steal.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Joe's getting off the schneid. ...and Willingham picks me up.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Wow. Is that really 3 games in a row we score 2 runs in the first inning? I'm not used to these quick starts.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Took four batters to score two runs instead of the usual two batters. Mildly concerned.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 This is some vintage Hammerin we're seeing lately. Good to see him bounce back from the DL.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 You misspelled Nuñez. Yes I did.... And I wasn't even close. I'm gonna blame auto correct.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Yes I did.... And I wasn't even close. I'm gonna blame auto correct. That's also what Gardy said about playing Florimon there as long as he did!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Joe's getting off the schneid. My vocabulary has been improved. Thanks! (Joe'll get off it eventually, i'm sure)
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 That's also what Gardy said about playing Florimon there as long as he did! Wouldnt it be awesome if Gardy had that sort of Auto-Correct for his lineup Card. He'd put Suzuki in the lineup and it would auto-correct to Pinto.
Taildragger8791 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If you'd told me 2-3 years ago that we'd have a lineup where Mauer was last in SLG, 6th in OBP, and 7th in AVG, I'd have thought "wow, that must be the first undefeated team in the history of baseball".
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 More ducks on the pond - and man, that was a short inning for the Jays, they were swinging pretty early in the count.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Sharp baserunning by Arcia. Looks like he was living dangerously, but he got back to 2nd on the pick off move and the snap throw from the catcher, and advances on a grounder to 3b. But he is stranded at 3rd... Oh well.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 We got speed .... just not communication.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Does this team even practice fundamentals?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 Dear Santana... You are good bunter and I appreciate you using this ability with your speed to get a hit or two on occasion... However... Don't Do it with Lawrie.... He's too good. Try the other side with Lind instead. That's All... You are doing great... Sincerely, Riverbrian
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Dear Santana... You are good butter Auto-correct strikes again! I wonder if this gives him a Land-o-lakes deal?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 Auto-correct strikes again! I wonder if this gives him a Land-o-lakes deal? Yeah... It's outta control today. With that said... Nothing like good butter. It makes stuff taste good... Right Gibby?

He'd put Suzuki in the lineup and it would auto-correct to Pinto. The future will be here when pencils have auto-correct. Next thing ya know, bats will also have auto-correct... (I think that's going to be my new theory of slumps/streaks)
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Auto-correct strikes again! So Auto-correct out of control probably explains all the game thread posts I have read that don't quite make sense or seem to be off on a tangent.

I'm sure my posts must all make perfect sense, then .... since I never allow auto correct.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I think the book on Arcia is "don't throw him a strike".
